Do I receive the same cleaner each week?

Yes, we aim to provide you with the same cleaner each week.

Do you have insurance?

Our agency ensure all cleaners are covered for damage to your property while cleaners are in your home.

Do you offer an hour a day cleaning?

No, our policy is 2.5 hours minimum per visit. This is to ensure travel and expenses remain in proportion to the cleaners wages.

Do I have to have detergents and equipment?

No, part of our service includes us providing eco friendly detergents and when required we will provide equipment.

How do I become a member?

If you sign up to have a weekly or bi weekly clean, you’ll automatically become an Elsa Mays’ member. You’ll receive a loyalty card and offers before the public.

Do I pay the cleaner?

No, we are a cashless system. All payments will be made in advance of work commencing. If you would like to give your cleaner a tip, you may do so at your discretion.

How do you vet your cleaners?

All cleaners go through extensive onboarding before we allow them in your home. Vetting includes:

  • Immigration status

  • Proof of identity and home address

  • References

  • DBS

What happens if my cleaner lets me down or I am not happy with the service?

We consider every client as a valuable customer. Although our cleaners are vetted for relaiabity, ocassisonally things happen beyond our control. If this does occur, we do our up most best to get someone to you within the same day, or if not the next day.

Please call us as soon as possible if you are dissatisfied and we will do our utmost to ensure the mistake is rectified.
